About AAbrick

AAbrick is a fast-growing building materials company with over 50 branches nationwide. We are focused on scalability, data-driven decision-making, and efficient systems that support sales, inventory, finance, and customer service across all branches.

We are looking for a highly practical, solution-oriented IT Officer to manage our ERP system and support all other IT needs of the business.


Key Responsibilities

ERP Management & Support

  1. Administer, maintain, and support the company ERP system across all branches
  2. Ensure accurate integration between sales, inventory, finance, and reporting modules
  3. Troubleshoot ERP-related issues and provide timely user support
  4. Work closely with management to improve workflows and automate processes
  5. Manage user access, roles, permissions, and system security

Systems & Infrastructure

  1. Manage company computers, networks, printers, and internet connectivity
  2. Ensure reliable IT operations across head office and branches
  3. Set up, configure, and maintain hardware and software
  4. Manage backups, data security, and system recovery procedures

Data & Reporting

  1. Support data accuracy, validation, and reporting from ERP and other systems
  2. Assist management with dashboards, reports, and system-driven insights
  3. Integrate tools such as Google Sheets, forms, and reporting platforms where needed

User Training & Support

  1. Train staff on ERP usage and IT best practices
  2. Provide clear documentation, SOPs, and user guides
  3. Act as first-line IT support for branches

Vendors & Upgrades

  1. Liaise with ERP vendors, ISPs, and other IT service providers
  2. Support system upgrades, new module implementations, and testing
  3. Recommend IT improvements aligned with business growth


Required Skills & Competencies

Core Technical Skills (Required)

  1. Strong hands-on experience managing and supporting an ERP system (sales, inventory, finance)
  2. SQL: Ability to query databases, validate data, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and support reporting
  3. Python: Ability to automate reports, clean and process data, and integrate systems
  4. Solid understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data flows
  5. Good working knowledge of computer networks, hardware, backups, and IT security
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Additional Technical Skills (Strong Advantage)

  1. JavaScript for web-based ERP customisation and API integrations
  2. HTML & CSS for basic UI tweaks, internal tools, and documentation
  3. Google Apps Script for automating Google Forms, Sheets, and approval workflows
  4. Exposure to ERP-related languages such as PHP or Java is an added benefit

Problem-Solving & Mindset

  1. Highly analytical and solution-oriented
  2. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  3. Ability to troubleshoot issues calmly under pressure
  4. Business-minded: understands how IT systems support operations, controls, and profitability

Communication & Training

  1. Able to explain technical issues in simple, practical language
  2. Patient and supportive when dealing with non-technical users
  3. Strong documentation, SOP writing, and user training skills


Qualifications & Experience

  1. Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  2. Minimum 2–5 years relevant experience in ERP or business systems support
  3. Experience in retail, distribution, or multi-branch operations is a strong advantage
